Perhaps you remember the unique music of the Fighting McKenzies, or even the larger-than-life stage set for Trash-town. Some thought it was an eyesore, others called it “Art”, lots of people didn’t know what it was, it’s been quite a while, and long gone. But the author behind those events, Wayne Montecalvo, has continued writing songs and making music with friends. Wayne has rounded up a few area musicians to play an evening of his original tunes that you might like to hear.
Please come to the Cafe to hear Dean Jones (from Dog on Fleas) on trombone and Lord knows what else, Adam Katzman (from Pocatella, and the Rosendale Improvement Association Brass Band & Social Club) on tuba and stand up bass, Marianne Tasick (from the Sweet Clementines, and Living With Elephants) on violin, and Wayne Montecalvo on four string guitar and accordion.
