St. Patricks Day sees three of the area’s finest singer / songwriter musicians joining forces to bring you an Irish extravaganza. Sarah Underhill is known throughout the Hudson Valley for her Celtic / Appalachian powerhouse vocals, and she is currently working on a new CD funded by her performances with Pete Seeger. Jude Roberts is a singer / songwriter / guitarist just returned from a tour of the West Coast; his blend of Celtic / Americana and tightly knit original songs have the ladies swooning in the aisles. Ian Worpole is himself sometimes found swooning in the aisles, but when he sits up straight, he performs a heady mix of English-Irish songs and tunes on guitar and mandolin, honed by years of abuse in English Folk clubs. The trio tonight will realize Mark’s long time dream of naming a band, so for one night only come and join in the songs, sample the fine range of food, beers green or otherwise and cheer along… The Lucky Charms.
“Couldn’t think of three more cheery folks to spend St. Paddy’s Day with.” –Cafe Guide
