Proceeds to benefit John Wirtz (founding band member)
John has recently been diagnosed with a serious condition that requires radiation treatment. Needless to say there will be many expenses to cover. This is so important that the band has decided to come out of retirement to perform a fundraiser. If you remember the band, if you remember Trash-Town, or if you are just a fan of John Wirtz, please come out and help us. If you’ve never heard or seen the band, you are in luck, now is your chance! This will be entertaining no matter what. The band so far will be John Hughes, Dean Jones, Cris Cullo, Warren Perrins, T.G. Vanini, Corliss Block, Wayne Montecalvo, Mike Crawley, and Mike Appolonia… and maybe John Wirtz himself. But probably not all at once.

“That most beloved of local bands, the Fighting Mckenzies…” –Susan Piperato, the Almanac.
“A canvas of harmony that recalls a wagon train or a shoot -out at high noon… Jones said he couldn’t say for certain what exactly might happen…
The tiny image of a two-headed female tennis player… Perrins meanwhile will be easily identifiable by the turkey on his head…” –John Barry, Poughkeepsie Journal
