In the first area appearance in over 2 years, the Charlie Kniceley Quartet will be at the Rosendale Cafe, performing original compositions as well as a few jazz standards.

Peter Levin, keyboards: In a diverse music career spanning several decades, keyboardist/arranger Pete Levin has performed and recorded with hundreds of jazz and pop artists.
John Cariddi, guitar: In addition to being an instructor for Jazz Studies at the Manhattan School for Music and Ramapo College, John has accompanied such well known singing artists as Robert Goulet, Vic Damone, Nancy Wilson, Joel Grey, and many others.
Harvey Sorgen, drums: Harvey has performed and/or recorded with the following artists: Hot Tuna, Ahmad Jamal, Michelle Shocked, Paul Simon, Dewey Redman, and many others.
Charlie Kniceley, bass: Charlie is best known as a consummate side man, and has worked with a long list of artists including; Al Martino, Jerry Vale, Ron Carter, Eileen Fulton, Joe Beck, Ed Summerlin, Danny Lewis, Randy Ciarlante, Jack Dejohnette, Mike DeMicco, Warren Bernhardt, Pete Levin, Connie Francis, Danny Brubeck, Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Honi Coles, Billy Reed, Jimmy Eppard, Brenda Buffalino, Machan Taylor, Mimi Hines, Hal Linden, Enzio Stuarte, Lucille Ricardo, Lew Soloff, Lou Marini and Rashid Ali… to name a few. After retiring from the music scene in 1995 he is back and working to re-establish himself in the musical fabric of the northeast and Scotland, where he has played many times in the Edinburgh International Arts Festival Fringe.
