He is also a professor at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

This performance will feature Bruce mainly on the Hammond B-3, with his organ group, consisting of Chris Vitarello on guitar and Ralph Rosen on drums, and special guest Eric Mingus on bass and vocals.

“Bruce Katz is a spectacular talent. He’s a brilliant composer and arranger who uses uncommon and unique musical intelligence to redefine jazz and blues far beyond the pale of the accepted definitions of keyboard competence. Whether on piano or organ, when you hear Bruce Katz you know it’s him, unmistakably and uniquely.” –Larry Coryell

“This man is as good as it gets. One of the greatest keyboard artists I’ve ever heard.” –John Hammond
