A lucky find for foragers of American roots music, the Shotgun Stringband is mashup of musical friendships forged in the fertile old-time music scene around Ithaca, NY. Richie Stearns, founding member of the Horse Flies and Donna the Buffalo, is joined by long time bandmates Jim Miller and Jed Greenberg, as well as his current musical sidekick Rosie Newton. A first-time, last-minute gig thrown together “just because”, don’t miss the world premier reunion of the Shotgun Stringband.
