Sax Life is a saxophone quartet plus bass and drums, performing a CD release party at The Rosendale Cafe.
After 20 years of playing jazz concerts, club dates and swing dances, the band has recently released its first CD, The Saxophone and the Drum. The CD features the compositions of leader Bob Shaut, and basically spans the history of the band. Featured musicians are Bob Shaut on alto and soprano, Jim Perry on tenor, Dan Shaut on alto and tenor, the legendary Ed Xiques on baritone, Charlie Kniceley on bass, and Jeff “Siege” Siegel on drums.
Come on out and get saxed!
Note this Sunday evening concert starts an hour earlier than most of our events.
