Say hello again, Rosendale Cafe lovers and patrons of fine live music, to the Saturday Night Bluegrass Band, coming to ply their (mostly) acoustic wares in another joyous evening of music with strings.
Once again the band will welcome slide guitar artist and extraordinary practitioner of the deep shadowy art of the square neck resonator, Cindy Cashdollar, joining in for the entire show.
Of course you know the band: Singer, guitarist Brian Hollander, who’ll maybe play some Dobro; Tim Kapeluck on mandolin, guitar and vocals; Geoff Harden holds down the bass and sings a sweet harmony; and the beautiful stylings of the incomparable singer, Francine Hollander, whose plaintive readings of those beautiful old country songs will, well, just tear you up.
Tim will add some of the songs from his exquisite new album, By Time and Gravity, on which Brian, Geoff and Cindy get to play, too.
We’re looking forward to seeing you all again.
Admission is for the ridiculously low price of $10 per person. It’s only available at the door, and the best seats go to those who arrive earliest.
