The Saturday Night Bluegrass crew finally returns to the Rosendale Cafe in a somewhat different form, but still with its forever fun loving reverence for the music and the occasion.
With the passing of banjo legend Bill Keith and the retirement of Eric Weissberg, another banjo great and the departure of Fooch Fischetti from the band, the group focuses on its core members: Brian Hollander, vocals, guitar and Dobro; Tim Kapeluck mandolin, guitar and vocals, Cindy Cashdollar, Dobro, and Geoff Harden, bass and vocals, are now joined with the sweet vocal stylings of Francine Hollander, as they work through originals and classics of the bluegrass and country music genres. The band’s penchant for vocal harmonies is highlighted, as are songs from Tim Kapeluck’s soon to be released solo CD.
Guest artists are possible. Admission is still a sweet, lonely $10.
