Red Dog Run is a group of veteran musicians and old friends, who have spent a good deal of their lives exploring the depths of American roots music. Jim Miller on guitar, Richie Stearns on banjo, Rosie Newton on fiddle, and Jed Greenberg on bass. They have performed extensively, in a myriad of musical projects (e.g. Donna the Buffalo, the Horse Flies, the Duhks, etc.), at clubs, theaters, and festivals across the Americas and Europe. In this relatively recent incarnation, they hope to harness that collective inspiration and find new ways to express the angst and energy of modern life through the time-honored art of the old-time stringband.
