$60.00 advanced, $65.00 at door
Join Laura Shaine Cunningham’s Write for Your Life memoir-writing workshop from 10:00am to 11:30am. Registration includes workshop and a lunch served after the workshop.
All proceeds will go to the Rosendale Theatre Collective, an ad hoc community group that was formed in October 2009 to purchase and preserve the Rosendale Theatre. The Cacchio family is selling the theatre after 62 years. Under the new ownership, the Rosendale Theatre will become a nonprofit. The Rosendale Theatre Collective will continue showing films; while presenting more live music, live theater, and other live performances. In addition, there will be more children’s programming.
Laura Shaine Cunningham is the author of two acclaimed memoirs, Sleeping Arrangements and A Place in the Country. Both originally appeared in The New Yorker magazine and went on to be hailed as classics. Michiko Kakutani, in The New York Times, called Sleeping Arrangements “a model memoir – irreverent and generous.” Harper Lee, author of To Kill a Mockingbird, wrote that it was “a beautiful story to cherish for years to come.” A Place in the Country received a rave cover review in The New York Times Book Review.
