A collection of photographs by Rosendale resident Larry Arvidson will be on display at the Rosendale Cafe throughout the month of December.
The photographs attempt to capture the colorful beauty of the ordinary both near and far from Ulster County. Arvidson hopes the collection will provide an interesting backdrop for diners at the Rosendale Cafe. An opening reception is planned for Sunday, December 2 from 2 to 4.
A Central Hudson retiree, Arvidson graduated from the University of Nebraska with a B.S. degree in zoology and became interested in photography while studying marine biology at the University of Connecticut. A resident of Rosendale since 1973, Arvidson continues to find New York the place to be.
