The leaves are turning, a chill is in the air; time for Sarah Underhill and Ian Worpole to fold up the lawn chairs and start their 12th season of Sunday afternoon Celtic song&tune at The Rosendale Cafe. Sarah is known up and down the Hudson Valley for her powerhouse voice and vast repertoire of songs, from Irish to Appalachian; and her long involvement with the Hudson Clearwater movement and many CD recordings. Ian brings a lifetime of performing in English and American folk clubs, both traditional and contemporary songs, licks, jigs, and reels. They take requests, and are looking forward to seeing friends old and new to kick off their mostly monthly Cafe residency.
Sarah Underhill and Ian Worpole bring on their monthly mix of traditional and contemporary folk music. From all things Celtic to Appalachian Americana, Sarah’s powerhouse voice and Ian’s various strings and vocals have been pleasing Cafe audiences for over ten years. Requests considered, come on out from 4:30pm to 7:00pm, and meet old friends and new and join in the chorus. Also enjoy veggie food, and a large selection of draft beers and wines.
