Piano man and songwriter Jumpin’ Jack Strobel has been called “a master of relaxed urbane swinging Blues” by Blues Revue Magazine. His sound contains echoes of the masters such as Charles Brown and Otis Spann. His debut CD on Backbender Records: Rhumba Lee was cited on several “Best of The Blues” lists in 2003. Big Joe Fitz has been the voice of The Blues in the Hudson Valley for the past 20 years (The Blues Break WDST). Big Joe Fitz is a singer of uncommon sensitivity and has few peers when it comes to soulful interpretations of Blues Ballads or slow cooked snaky grooves. With Chris Vitarello, guitar; Mike Lampe, bass. Expect a warm and engaging evening of sophisticated, swinging Blues, Old School Style.
