The cats who’ll be playing are Roswell Rudd on trombone, Mike Kull on piano, Matt Finck on guitar, Lew Scott on bass,
Harvey Kaiser on sax, and T. Xiques on skins.
You will hear the music of Monk, Parker, Scofield, and everything else in between.
All proceeds support the scholarship fund awarded to a graduating senior from Rondout Valley High School in pursuing a career in music.
Ron Finck was a brilliant musician who resided in the Hudson Valley for 30 years. He constantly strived to better himself musically, and was passionate about supporting young musicians in their musical journeys. This passion was the catalyst for starting the long-running Ron Finck Memorial Scholarship.
