Work o' the WeaversWork o' the Weavers celebrates the musical legacy of America's pioneering folk quartet, The Weavers. Not only do Work o' the Weavers sing the beloved, timeless songs, but they interweave an edifying and informative narrative that places the songs in historical context. Additionally, the band complements the familiar repertoire with original and gathered songs that The Weavers might be singing today.

Work o' the Weavers is David Bernz (banjo), James Durst (guitar), Mark Murphy (bass) and Martha Sandefer. They have just come off an extraordinary year, the highlights of which have included a 2-week tour of Israel where they headlined the Jacob's Ladder Festival and played to standing ovations throughout the country (May). They've also played at the 35th Annual Kerrville Folk Festival (Texas, June), 2 sold-out shows at The Guthrie Center (Great Barrington MA, summer), and performed with the 200-voice combined choirs of 4 synagogues for an 1100-seat SRO audience (December), among many other accomplishments.

"Four wonderful people who've... picked up where the Weavers left off. I put on the recording and had to listen to it twice. Fantastic!" --Pete Seeger

"If I'm an expert in one thing, it's in the Weavers' music. When I heard [Work o' the Weavers] I got blown away. Great! [They] have it exactly right!" --Alan Chartock, WAMC-FM, Albany NY
