Codhill Press, New Paltz announces the release of Steve Clorfeine's second collection of poetry. "Field, Road, Skiy" (April 2006) revolves around places in Ulster County, contemplative travel journals, and a new series of poems written to movement improvisations.
With very special guests: Brenda Buffalino, Jay Clayton, Steve Gorn.
Steve Clorfeine is a writer and performer whose most recent book, "In The Valley of the Gods: Journals of an American Buddhist in Nepal," was published by Station Hill Press in 2001. His performance work incorporates his own writing as well as adaptations of Samuel Beckett, Lewis Carroll, T.S. Eliot, Gertrude Stein and Robert Louis Stevenson. Collaborations include work with musicians and dancers Brenda Bufalino, Jay Clayton, Steve Gorn, Jerry Granelli, and long-time theater partner, Lanny Harrison. Steve has been on the faculty of Naropa University, SUNY New Paltz and the Amsterdam Theaterschool. He is the co-founder of Sky Lake Lodge in Rosendale, NY.
